This elegant basketweave mosaic combines the distinctive beauty of Calacatta Gold with contrasting Nero Marquina dot accents. The honed finish softens the natural stone surface, while the classic basketweave pattern creates a refined architectural detail suited to bathrooms, feature walls, splashbacks and other decorative interior applications.
Calacatta Gold is a prestigious Italian marble quarried from the Apuan Alps of Tuscany, characterised by a luminous white background with distinctive grey veining and occasional warm gold-toned movement. Its natural variation gives each piece an individual appearance, creating subtle movement throughout the finished mosaic.
Nero Marquina is a dramatic natural marble characterised by its deep black base and contrasting white veining. Used as the dot accent within this basketweave design, it creates a striking contrast against the lighter Calacatta Gold and adds definition to the traditional pattern.
